12-12-12 Multi-event

Yesterday it was 12 dec 2012 and together with team VORB we organised the 12-12-12 multi event in Nuenen. We had a great event, a little late, so everything is a little slow today.
For this event, a special geocoin has been developed. There are a few Netherlands editions left over from the event, which are now in our shop.

Dutch Geocoin 2012

When we encoutered the 'spilled honey' problem in the Dutch Geocoin 2012 RE edition, the factory put a lot of effort in trying to get a new batch as soon as possible. They made is very fast and a small amount is now available in our shop!

Especially for the Xmas season, we have a new of beautiful Geocoins and cute trackables. You can find these in the special Xmas category.

Boardgame Treasure Hunt

End last year, we had the introduction of the first Geocaching boardgame 'Treasure Hunt', designed by Rene van de Berg.
A fun game which can be played with 2-4 players. Something for under the Christmas tree?

Hedgehogs, batch 5

We have done already 5 batches of this cute geocoin and made in total 107 (!) different versions. This week we have 9 new editions in our shop. As usual, of each edition, there are only 20 made.

New geocoins

12-12-12 Multi event Geocoin - the Netherlands

For 12 dec 2012 a so-called multi-event has been organised. These are events all happening at 12-12-12 and which are all using the same event geocoin design as the event coin.
Each event has it's own edition (metal plating/color combination).
Worldwide, there are over 60 different editions.

For the Netherlands, a coin has been designed which has been used for 5 events.

There are 325 coins made of this edition.

Size: 50 mm, 3 mm thick

This geocoin is trackable at geocaching.com and has its own icon:

On the geocoin, you can find the text , "Once in a while, I will bring a visit to every garden..... and even may find a cache".

Of each edition, there are 20 pieces made.

The geocoin is 44 x 31 mm

This Geocoin is trackable at Geocaching.com and has its own icon.
There is a maximum of 1 per person.

Winter Confusion Geocoin

Satin nickel geocoin with footsteps in the snow.
"Don't make it easy on the next cacher"

With this coin comes a pathtag, with a unique number, which can be logged at pathtags.com
