Newsflash nr 67 December 2011
|
Welcome Geocachers,
Last week, we launched the new boardgame Treasure Hunt and we already shipped a number of Sinterklaas packages. On the forum of globalcaching a discussion is taking place on the game, includig a funnty video on the 'unboxing' of the game (in dutch).
Together with Catch Me Games, we have donated one game for a lottery on the forum. A great challenge where you have to guess the weight and fat percentage of underground (owner of the site). You can still participate. Shipment of the game is free within the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
This week, we also have a very beautiful new coin: the Medicin Wheel. We had this design already before, but now finally some larger numbers available in new finishes (including an AE copper version).
Of ourse, also a number of rare specialty cions, with the complete Celtic Sun, Moon and Star Geocoin series.
Our updates can be followed on Twitter: @geocachingshop and on Facebook
Happy reading,
Marly and Willem-Jan Verberne

Medicine Wheel
The Medicine Wheel is a symbol of peace, its crosspieces represent the 4 winds or directions, the quadrants represent the seasons. Each feather representing an element; The Firebird-Fire, the Dolphin-Water, the Howling Wolf- Earth and the Butterfly- Air.
The center represents the directions like a Compass Rose but look closely and you will see patterns with more meaning. The very center under the blue is the symbol of the Zia; seen as the symbol of the sun, and also of the 4 directions and the repetition of life on earth. Under the red are the rays of the Morning Star; the brightest star on the dawn's horizon, often honored as a sign of courage and purity of spirit, and under the yellow is the pattern that has many meanings, it is used in Wedding Baskets to represent; man & woman, cloud tips, night & day, landscapes & distant horizons.
