Geocoin design contest

Herewith the 1st preview of the design of the Troy Geocoin

We are currently in discussion with the factory about the production and the different versions.

How does it work:

• Anyone who can make a nice Geocoin design, can participate, even with multiple designs
• The design can be sent to: geocoin@geocachingshop.nl and must be with us, ultimately at april 30
• The Geocachingshop will choose the winning design on May 1st and will announce the winner on the site
• The designer of the winning design will receive 10 coins of the winning design in an Artist Edition edition
• The design needs to comply to the following theme:

Other conditions/guidelines:

• Size of the coin: 44 - 50 mm. Thickness depends on the design.
• Design, if possible, delivered in a design tool format (photoshop, adobe illustrator, o.i.d.). All parts separated and colors in PMS as much as possible.
• Guideline of max 10 colors per side of the coin
• The design cannot be used in another Geocoin before.
• The Geocoin should contain the text: "track at geocaching.com"
• No text on the side of the coin
• The design should not contain parts which are owned by others (e.g. via copyright or on other Geocoins)
• In case the designs which are participating do not have enough quality, the Geocachingshop can decide to cancel the contest. In that case the designs will be returned to the designers.
• The Geocachingshop can decide to bring more designs in production.
• By participating at this contest, the Geocachingshop because automatically owner of the design
